Wolseley Hornet is a variant of the Mini produced by the British Motors Corporation under the Wolseley Motors Limited nameplate. This car has huge history file with all receipts, photographs, a Heritage Certificate and the original Workshop manual as well as the Driver's Handbook and the car has a current MOT.
The Restoration was carried out by the world renowned Mini expert Bill Richards at Bill Richard's Racing in Ashford in Kent and the interior trim was by Bryan Purvess also a Mini expert and author on the subject.
As you can imagine, there are many bespoke items on this car including the 'Shorty' badge and the rear boot rack. Amazingly, the boot is big enough to take a full shopping trolley of groceries. This car is only 263cm long, 134cm wide and 125cm high
The 998cc engine pulls very well and sounds amazing and the everything works as it should. There is a classic styled CD player in the car so the soundtrack to the drive is great.
It is worth noting that the brakes have been uprated to discs for peace of mind.
There is a full tonneau cover that comes with the car for inclement weather with a drivers side that rolls back. There is also a full car cover and 2 matching umbrellas. The car also has 2 under seat picnic baskets that are Wolseley branded.
